What is a senior living GPO, and why does it matter?

A group purchasing organization (GPO) uses the collective buying power of its members to negotiate better pricing and terms on the products and services communities use every day: food, medical supplies, facilities, workforce, and more. For senior living specifically, a GPO can meaningfully reduce operating costs while improving access to quality products and trusted vendors.

Incite is dedicated exclusively to senior living. Generic GPOs spread their attention across hospitals, clinics, education, and corporate clients, and healthcare GPOs are usually optimized for acute care. Incite’s programs, vendor relationships, and Member Success team are calibrated specifically to senior living, and we’re the only GPO with an exclusive AHCA/NCAL partnership.

No. Membership is completely free, with no purchasing minimums, no exclusivity requirements, and no long-term contracts. You can use Incite for as much or as little of your spend as makes sense for your community.

In most cases, no. Incite already partners with the suppliers most senior living communities use, such as Sysco, DirecTV, and Ferguson. You keep your existing relationships and gain better pricing through our negotiated agreements; where switching makes sense, our team manages the transition.

Most members are enrolled and seeing savings within 30 to 60 days. Your dedicated Member Success Manager handles training, order-guide optimization, and coordination with national vendor partners.

As the exclusive GPO partner of AHCA/NCAL, every dollar spent through Incite supports advocacy, education, and policy work that benefits senior living. Members also gain priority access to AHCA/NCAL tools, resources, and updates.

You can still become an Incite member directly. State association partnerships expand access and benefits in covered states, but they aren’t a requirement for membership.
